Sam A. Khoury

Vice President, Pizza Hut National Purchasing Co-op, Inc.

As the leader of UFPC’s Pizza Hut National Purchasing Co-op, Sam is responsible for all food, paper and equipment/smallwares program management for Pizza Hut member stores, as well as the wheat/grain and import sourcing team that serves all five concepts.

With a results-driven style, Sam continually strives to implement the best supply chain practices for Pizza Hut Concept Co-op members. Sam drives excellence through a team of talented professionals with exceptional business and change-management abilities. Under his leadership, the team recently implemented Pizza Hut’s One-Stop Shop System for Distribution Commitment Agreements, a cutting-edge business and systems approach in the restaurant industry.
       
Joining UFPC in 1999 as Director, Dairy and Cheese Purchasing, Sam implemented one of the industry’s most sophisticated commodity hedging programs and led negotiations on a multibillion-dollar contract for Pizza Hut shredded cheese. In 2004, he became Senior Director, Program Management and drove over $2 billion in product sales from programs, expanded the strategic supplier base, and increased production capacity to support explosive growth for WingStreet. Before joining UFPC, Sam held positions with Tricon and PepsiCo, as well as Destination Products International in Canada.

Sam earned an MBA from Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia) and a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Brunswick. Active in community involvement, he is a founding member and currently serves on the Dallas Leadership Council and has served on the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance.
