William Holden
Vice President, Controller
As Controller, Bill manages a team that provides compliance reporting for UFPC in both the financial and tax areas of our business. He leads the focus on integrity through the formulations and implementation of policies and procedures for safeguarding member assets. Additionally, he oversees the accounting team, which provides the back-office support for the multimillion-dollar equipment sales operation.
In his distinguished career Bill has lead successful implementations of two enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in addition to serving on the management team charged with UFPC’s formation in 1998-1999.
Bill joined the KFC National Purchasing Co-op, Inc. in 1985 as Controller and served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until 1999. Upon the formation of UFPC, Bill was named to his current role. Prior to his career with UFPC, Bill spent 13 years in public accounting. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from Georgetown College and is a certified public accountant. Bill is a member of the Kentucky Society of CPAs, the AICPA, the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives and the Institute for Cooperative Financial Officers.
