Gordon Crum
Vice President, Distribution & Logistics
As the leader of UFPC’s distribution and logistics team, Gordon has over 25 years of experience in logistics, distribution, operations and purchasing management. It is Gordon’s mission to lead the development and execution of distribution, freight and monitoring strategies, ensuring that our concept co-op members are provided the best distribution options and the lowest transportation costs. Without fail, the team continues to ensure continuous supply and superior customer service.
Gordon successfully managed one of the most comprehensive request for proposal (RFP) processes for distribution services in the history of the quick-service restaurant industry, resulting in significant value to UFPC operators. Also, under his leadership, the team implemented a transportation strategy, which enabled considerable reductions to inbound freight costs and provided improved management of freight processes with our suppliers and distributors. Gordon and his team are valued business partners of our operators.
Prior to joining UFPC in 2003, Gordon held senior roles with Diageo in the areas of distribution, logistics and operations. Additionally, Gordon spent 11 years with Colgate-Palmolive Co., primarily focusing on supply chain management. Gordon earned a degree in industrial management from Purdue University.
