Ron Burks
Senior Vice President, International Sourcing and Pizza Hut National Purchasing Co-op, Inc.
Ron leads the UFPC Pizza Hut team in Dallas, Texas, and manages the supply chain for corporate and franchise-owned Pizza Hut stores. Ron’s team serves as a center of excellence in wheat and cheese purchasing for the entire Yum! Brands system. By mitigating financial risk for concept co-op members, Ron’s team delivers a significant contribution to purchasing and promotional programs. The Pizza Hut team consistently delivers as a result of their passion and excellence. Ron also works with Yum! China, supporting international opportunities to leverage our sourcing abilities.
Ron’s experience includes over 30 years in logistics, international trade and strategic sourcing. Prior to joining UFPC in 2001, Ron worked with Tricon Restaurants International as director of international trade. He has extensive experience in addressing international trade and sourcing issues that affect product movement on a global basis. Ron earned a master’s degree in agricultural economics from West Texas A&M University.
