UFPC Acquires Yum! Brands’ Equipment Refurbishing Division
Louisville, Ky. — July 3, 2002 —
Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op®, LLC (UFPC®) reached an agreement on July 1, 2002, with Yum! Brands, Inc. to acquire the company’s equipment refurbishment division, which provides rebuilt and refurbished equipment to owners of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants.
