UFPC Launches New Web Site
Louisville, Ky. — Jan. 25, 2002 —
Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op®, LLC (UFPC®) announces the launch of its new Web site, www.ufpc.com. The site provides public information about the organization and its services and a secure site through which UFPC members can access store and share information. UFPC sees this Web site as a means to enhance its member services and to inform the public of UFPC’s services and community value.
Phase 1 of UFPC’s new Web site offers UFPC stockholder members a way to manage their account information online 24 hours a day. Members can:
- View Store Information ... by Unit ID, Address, City or Unit Type.
- Update/Edit Store Information ... Add or Delete stores as their businesses grow.
- View Share Status ... and use Inquiry to send UFPC Planning an e-mail about share status.
- Update Member Information ... verify address, e-mail and phone numbers.
- Add New Users ... click Add Users from the My Accounts page to add Associate Users to member accounts.
The Web site is not limited to member access. "We see this site as a communication tool that can help inform both our membership and the general public of the contributions UFPC can provide," explained Marla Zwakenberg, Manager, Communications.
The site includes a number of sections of interest to the general public. Through the site, one may research the organization, review its overall mission and services, or view job postings/job benefits in the careers section.
