UFPC Signs Contract with Instill

Agreement will provide purchase-tracking services to UFPC's members

Louisville, Ky. — April 10, 2001 —

Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op®, LLC (UFPC®) has signed an agreement with Instill Corp., a leading provider of supply chain solutions for the $391 billion foodservice industry.

UFPC, the purchasing arm for the Tricon restaurant system in the U.S., will implement Instill's purchase tracking and data analysis service. The service is part of UFPC’s supply chain optimization initiative for more than 18,000 KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell corporate- and franchise-owned restaurants throughout the U.S.

Instill's purchase tracking and data analysis service will monitor unit compliance and maximize cost savings for UFPC.
