UFPC Knows How to Make Work Fun

Louisville, Ky. — April 26, 2000 —

Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op®, LLC (UFPC®) knows how to make work fun. On a quarterly basis, the team members from the Louisville office meet off-site for an entertaining and information-packed meeting. The April 27 meeting will be held at Cardinal Wings Aviation at Bowman Field. Leanne Bickelman, UFPC’s event planner, has coordinated every detail to fit the aviation theme. The meeting will open with a skit performed by UFPC’s Fun Crew, a group of team members who have been working together to develop fun and recognition for the company.

Division representatives will give updates on the different areas of the company, and Daniel E. Woodside, UFPC’s President and Chief Executive Officer, will present awards to outstanding team members. UFPC’s past quarterly meetings have been held at the Louisville Zoo and Louisville Slugger Museum, and aboard the Star of Louisville.

UFPC manages the supply chain for corporate and franchise KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut restaurants. The members of UFPC include the KFC National Purchasing Co-op, Inc., the Taco Bell National Purchasing Co-op, Inc. and the Pizza Hut National Purchasing Co-op, Inc. Headquartered in Louisville, Ky., UFPC also operates offices at the restaurant support centers in Dallas, Texas, and Irvine, Calif.
